And there was much rejoicing

It appears that your somewhat faithful correspondant is now remiss in preparing two reviews, not just one, for he just received his brand new cell phone (w00t, as some would have it). The handset is the Sony Ericsson T608, for the one or two of you who may be interested, and the Bluetooth works just fine, praise be. I've been psyching myself up for this moment for years now -- ever since my Ricochet modem stopped working -- and am still amazed at how a human being can access the Internet wirelessly and without concern for one's bodily location. Heck, I could be writing this message from a place that doesn't already have wireless data! I'm not, but just think! I could be composing email at Borrone's like it was 2000 again. I'm positively giddy.

Anyway, about that review. Seeing as how I've actually worked on cell phone software before, expect it to be particularly in-depth on that point and particularly hand-wavey on others. Plus, you'll get to hear me reminisce about what I consider to be the best cell phone ever made (no, you can't have it: what do you think this is, 1998?). If you think you might be interested in that sort of thing, please don't hesitate to stop by a bit later and have a gander.
