The students of "Women and Activism in American History" (Sonoma State University, Spring 2007) created a timeline of newspaper articles about the Women's Movement. Each student indexed two full months of issues of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, categorizing articles related to the Women's Movement by their regional scope (Sonoma County, California, national, or international) and by the subject headings the class identified. The timeline is a visualization of the indexing work done in this first semester of research.
